Protecting your personal data is important to me. Personal data is processed on this website only to the extent technically necessary and to handle enquiries.

3. Access data / server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information transmitted by your browser. This includes in particular:

  • IP address
  • date and time of the request
  • page accessed
  • browser type and operating system

This data is used solely for the technical security and stability of the website and is not used to identify you.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. The hosting provider processes personal data only within the scope of applicable data protection law and on the basis of a data processing agreement. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website).

5. Contact form and email

If you contact me via the contact form or by email, the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, message) is sent to me by email and stored in order to handle your enquiry. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data is not passed on to third parties.

6. Fonts

The fonts used are loaded directly from this server. No connection is made to external font providers (e.g. Google Fonts).

7. Cookies

This website does not use cookies or any tracking or analytics tools.

8. Contact via WhatsApp

This website contains a link that lets you contact me via WhatsApp. No data is sent to WhatsApp when you load the page; WhatsApp only opens once you click the link. If you message me via WhatsApp, your details (e.g. phone number, name, message content) are processed by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland; this may involve a transfer to Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. WhatsApp's privacy policy applies. I use the data solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Alternatively, you can reach me at any time by email or via the contact form.

9. Client viewer (viewer.ulusdesign.de)

For presenting 3D models and project files to clients, I provide a password-protected viewer at viewer.ulusdesign.de. It is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA. When you open the viewer, Netlify automatically processes access data (in particular IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type) to deliver the page and keep it secure; this may involve a transfer to the USA. Netlify relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers.

The files provided are encrypted on my computer before upload and are only decrypted in your browser after the password is entered. Netlify therefore cannot read their content. The viewer uses no cookies and no tracking tools. It only stores your login and view settings locally in your browser (localStorage) so that you do not have to log in again each time; this storage is strictly necessary for the service you requested (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG). I delete client links as soon as they are no longer needed. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, simple data exchange with clients).

This website contains links to external websites (e.g. LinkedIn and Xing). The respective providers are responsible for the content and privacy policies of the linked pages.

11. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Please send any requests to the email address given above.
